This was copied from my e-mail to Stephen.....sigh...isn't copy and paste wonderful?
Here is the tale:
I read on Christian and Kenna's blog that one weekend they made sugar cookies. Kenna gave Christian a large chunk of dough to roll out, she took a large portion, and she gave Oscar a pile. Oscar watched his mommy as she was rolling out the dough and decided that he must flatten his dough also. He stood up, turned around and sat on the dough. Then, ever so proud of himself, he turned to examine his flat and ready for the oven dough. To his amazement , it was gone.
Apparently, Kenna and Christian were so amused, they just let him do it 3 or 4 more times (all whilst the dough building the layered look on his cute little backside).
So, for Christian's birthday, I sent him a Bear Lake Wakeboarding T Shirt. I slipped in the package a little kid's rolling pin, and put Oscar's name on it.
Christian sent me a video of Oscar running around the house flattening everything, even the windows (one never knows if a window might need to be smoothed out a bit). Thereafter, Oscar spent a great deal of time trying to flatten Kenna's stomach.
I'm quite confident that Oscar's efforts helped push Felix out! And if I hadn't have sent Oscar the rolling pin, it might not have happened! :) Hence my role (or roll...) in Felix's smooth entrance!
I went wakeboarding in Felix's honor. Utah Lake in October. It was BEAUTIFUL. I even dedicated a run to Felix. The fall leaves on the mountains above Provo were simply spectacular.
