More fun (at the dump)!

So what do you do with all the broken up asphalt?  Take it to the dump.  Unfortunately you can't park and just dump, you have to shovel and/or hand toss the junk across the sidewalk to the trash pit.  Greg and I made a game out of it.  I got proficient throwing the junks of asphalt like a frisbee (for variety I switched to my left hand).  Greg picked out various targets:  a car seat, boxes, even a bouncy ball.  Good times.  Good times.  :)

I stole that line from Christian's last blog, the pathetic thing is that we really did have fun.  At one point, I said to Greg, "I just can't picture your mom doing this."  He looked at me like I had horns growing out of my head, smiled and quietly said, "Uh, no."

The only thing missing was the buzz sound from the World Cup Matches and it would have been a perfect sporting experience.

Dump Action Cam:

"Skipping Rocks" with asphalt is a whole new adventure.  I saw Greg skip a chunk of asphalt and then it broke into three pieces--then each piece skipped 3 more times.  Is that like skipping rocks cubed?

It does look fun! I especially liked the little landfill algebra! The burning question is: what will you do with the new space in your yard?

I didn't get to see you last week when I was in SLC. I'm coming again at the end of the month, so I hope to see you then.
