Bear Lake Final Hurrah of the Season!

We tried to do it all, but only got in: boating, wakeboarding, Air Chair (getting better and better), tennis, planted half a dozen daisies and one black eyed susan, had great meals, took the dogs for walks, great picnics on the beach (oops for the sand in those peanut butter and honey sandwiches), kayaking, and windsurfing! Here are some pics and even a map:

In case you can't tell, I have on a wetsuit! It was a bit nippy! In this pic, I'm helping my mom get ready for our last kayaking adventure of the summer!

Here we are after paddling around the bay. How cute is my mom? She's absolutely the cutest thing ever. Just hops right in and here we go. We were out there for half an hour, and she didn't think it was that long!!!! :) I guess I should have kept paddling! But, she didn't tell me she thought it was short until after we were on the beach.

And finally.....
That's me windsurufing! Yep, there I am! I'm up and trying to figure out how to turn that sail so I can move! We saw a guy up there scampering away (like 12 mph last weekend), so I know that once one figures out the whole wind thing--one can move on it!

All photo credits courtesy of my friend, Robin Mueller. Who was left on the beach with the dogs, chasing after umbrellas blowing into the water, while my mom and I were out playing around!

Oh, Robin's friend, Josh fixed the windmill so it turns! He also helped my mom fix the windows in the living room! He was ever so handy (personally, I couldn't be more thrilled about the windmill actually moving in the wind! It's darling!).

Yesterday, while Robin was chasing umbrellas, my mom and I were playing in the water, Josh was riding his bike around the lake. My phone has a GPS thing,so I asked Josh to take it with him. When he got done (ok, last night when I was home, so he was really done), I uploaded his bike route to google maps. Here it is:
