It was a really fun day. We even stopped for photos. Dave wants me to pick out a pic and order three copies. Here they are, let me know if you have any preference:

Oh for those of you trying to put a name with a face (good luck with all the gear on), here is my official "key":
The right one in the black and camaflouge, is yours truly. Aimee's oldest son, and amazing little ripper on the slopes is Tyler right in from of me. The very tall guy and incredibly smooth on the slopes is Dave (my brother). Now, next to him is "Mr. Chris" father of Michael (center on front row), and uh...FLIP...I forgot her name! Calailee. Cody? Shoot, I said her name a million times as she kept getting up after her falls today (very important). She decided to board, but it was a bit intimidating because Tyler was simply so amazing. It's hard to be shown up by an 8 year old! :)
Not for me, I LOVED it. All day, I'd be going down the hill, I'd turn around and look at Tyler, then I'd point to to trees and he just zipped on over there and ripped through the trees and jumps and swish right out the other side.
Ryan and I took him up last Tuesday, and it was only his second time on a board. Yes, at the end of the day, he went down the half pipe! I was laughing so hard!
Aimee and Jeff told me how good he was, but I have to confess: their description didn't really do it justice. I told the photographer that Tyler went through the half pipe last Tuesday, and he said, "I can't even do that!"
All the time, I could hear guys on the lifts yelling, "Look at that little Dude. Look at that little ripper go!" :)
So, apparently, Tyler has inherited his father and grandfather's genes and love of the slopes. I told Tyler that today and he looked at me like, "Huh?" I said, "Not BLUE Jeans....genes are things that you inherit from your parents. And you got some really good snow genes in your body." (I'm sure that any biologist would love THAT description). He smiled at me, and we tried to roll our tongues and turn 'em over as we rode up the lift.

Hey I am jealous that you guys have that talent. I keep saying that I am going to learn but I continue to have children and put it off :) Maybe you can teach me someday! It sounds like Tyler could even teach me :)
Tyler could teach you! He was so patient with Dave's 13 year old niece. I was standing down at the lift, and I looked up to see where they were. Tyler was sitting right next to Callie (who knows!), and showing her the falling leaf.
Later, Tyler and I were going up the lift together and he explained to me that he taught her the "falling leaf." In his explanation he said that she only got the falling part.
I nearly fell off the chair!
LOVE the pictures Loretta! Tyler told me about the pictures last night so I am glad I got to see them. I like #3 the best, you can see all of you better :) THANK YOU again for everything.
What is all the white stuff? Oh yeah, snow. We don't have that here. It just stays wet and never turns to the fun powder. Glad you had fun. We like picture #3.
